Food Is A Weapon

Aaron Bernstein
Dichotomy, Food, Weapon, Control, Surreal, Illusion

Objects often take on an alternative form and function to how we would otherwise recognize them in everyday life.

Regardless of whether we are able to acknowledge our presence in this imagined space, we inherently recognize that we are unable to control the narrative past our understanding of our own realities. In this series, food objects mutate into different weapons.

These images serve as a visual reference of what we might experience when dreaming, while also applying this overarching idea of the dichotomy of control
to a real world context.

(MY INTERPRETATION OF SLEEPWA[L]KING)
There is an inherent contrast between our surroundings and how we perceive them when in a dream-like state.
